Cooloolah Coasts - Teewah beach camping

Where:

Located on the Sunshine coast about 1 1/2 hrs north of Brisbane, take the Cooroy Eumundi turn off from the Bruce hwy and head towards Noosa. Take the Tewantin exit and look for Moorindal street. This will take you to the ferry to cross to the Noosa North shore. From here it's about 5km's to the 3rd cutting onto the Cooloola beach.

What you'll need:

2 permits, one for camping and one for the vehicle. You can stop at the NPRSR office 100mtrs before the North Shore ferry on the left hand side, or book online at www.nprsr.qld.gov.au. The ferry will cost about $7

This is pure beach front camping with no facilities. You will need to be completely self sufficiant. Teewah camp zone is 12km long so there is plenty to choose from.

Fires are allowed here, but BYO fire wood. Check in summer months for fire bans.
