Lake Moogerah - Qld Scenic Rim
Located at Muller Park Road Moogerah
While on a long weekend around the scenic rim we stumbled upon Lake Moogerah. The park caters to all styles of camping. There are Caravan and big rig sites available next to all the ammenities includeing hot showers and flushing toilets, powered and unpowerd sites. There is a huge grassy area right down on the lake if your self sufficiant power wise, anything of anysize can set up on the lake foreshore. Bring your boat and launch from the boat ramp or if you have a tinny, pull it up right on the waters edge. There are several fire rings which can be moved closer to your camp if needed. There is a small shop and fire wood is also available for purchase. You wont need the 4WD to get here, but the scenic rim offers many areas to travel if your looking for some adventure. If your looking for a relaxing weekender away from the big smoke, Lake Moogerah is about 60 mins from the Gold Coast or Brisbane.
